Scientists Reveal the Hi
What it means
There is no hidden message. The joke is that the sentence is grammatically wrong and the cat looks serious about it. People keep the caption and remix everything else โ inverted colours, swapped faces, other animals.
Where it came from
The photo was a BBC thumbnail for a May 2025 article on why ginger cats are ginger. In July 2025 a Redditor captioned it "Scientists reveal the secret". In late May 2026 another Redditor swapped "secret" for "Hi", and the version blew up on Instagram in October 2026.
