Bad Times Dog (AI pet argument)
What it means
The joke is a huge, dramatic telling-off over nothing, performed by an animal that has clearly had enough of its owner. People use it for pets who "argue back" — the dog when dinner is five minutes late, the cat that won't be moved off the sofa. The more serious and calm the pet normally is, the funnier the rant.
Where it came from
The routine comes from French TikTok creator @bouuhyachaka, who lip-synced "BAD TIMES" (a deep house single by Imael Angel, released 30 March 2026) while arguing with the person filming on 20 August 2026, then posted a full-length kitchen take captioned "Ça va barder!!" on 9 September — the take the AI pet versions copy. On 22 September @tillandsialover posted an AI black shepherd doing the whole routine in a bright kitchen (9.9M views by 14 Oct per MakeViral; about 10.9M on 19 Oct per Bad Times AI), and an AI tabby cat by @shalunts_art went up the same day. By 14 October #badtimes held 29,488 TikTok videos and 201 million views (MakeViral). The pet clips are AI-generated.
